When Sussex County celebrates
Peak season runs Memorial Day through Labor Day. In Rehoboth, in-season beach ceremonies are only permitted before 8 a.m. or after 6 p.m., so many celebrations shift to the shoulder months: state-park beach venues offer limited May to October dates, and Dogfish Head sells wedding packages for fall, winter and spring. October is the county's busiest festival month.

- The City of Rehoboth Beach, the Town of Dewey Beach and Delaware State Parks each permit beach ceremonies. The booth itself needs cover and shade, so it sets up at your reception rather than on the sand.
- Summer traffic
- Summer weekend traffic on Route 1 can add 30 to 60 minutes or more. We build that into our arrival so setup is done before your booth time starts.
- What the booth needs
- About 10 by 10 feet, one standard outlet within 25 feet, cover and shade outdoors, and about an hour to set up before your booth time starts.
