Tilghman Island resorts are close by for full wedding weekends.
Local legend says townspeople hung lanterns in the trees during the British raid of August 10, 1813, so the cannons overshot the town (the National Park Service questions the story). Lantern light makes a lovely theme for a strip design, and the Inn at Perry Cabin has a movie credit of its own: it was the setting for the main reception in Wedding Crashers.
